Roosevelt will be partnering with other Jefferson Parish Schools and Second Harvest Food Bank to collect supplies for the families affected by Hurricane Harvey. Next Generation is a club that guides students to build a moral compass and promotes long-term mentoring relationships with community leaders. The group will meet every Wednesday, beginning September 13th, at lunch.
On March 23rd, Tulane University students brought Shakespeare to Roosevelt. They performed scenes from various Shakespearean plays, and brought history to life. They did an outstanding job making Shakespeare fun and easier for our students to understand. We are very thankful to have had the Tulane students enlighten and entertain us.
