After-School Tutoring will begin on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, and will last for approximately 13 weeks. The purpose of tutoring is to close the knowledge gap for each scholar at Roosevelt and to ensure that they are proficient in the core curriculum subjects. Tutoring will take place from 2:30pm – 4:00pm and the schedule will be as follows:
- Tuesday – English;
- Wednesday – Math;
- Thursday – Science / Social Studies.
Students who are not involved in athletics or extra-curricular activities will load the buses to be brought home at 4:00pm. Those students who are involved in athletics or extra-curricular activities will attend practice from 4:00pm-5:25pm, and will load the buses to be brought home at 5:30pm.
